Karen Andrews

I have been facilitating peoples' growth and empowerment for over a decade using an array of inner processes and outer communication tools. In my 30 years as a practicing artist doing watercolor, photography and drawing, I have learned much about keeping myself inspired, productive and in the creative flow. I also know about procrastination, vicious inner criticism, rejection by the marketplace and the ups and downs of a creative live.

I have exhibited locally, regionally and even internationally. I started my own home-based gallery, the Inner Vision Studio, where I sell my fine art and a line of home goods and wearable art products. (Link) I have an online gallery and sell at regional crafts events.

I also enjoy singing, songwriting and playing guitar as well as writing poetry and personal essays.

As a "cultural creative" I have developed and catalyzed a number of community projects, including a local Time Bank , an artists' rental loft space, and several environmental projects.

I am a dedicated ally, I have excellent listening skills and I have years of personal experience getting to the other side of creative distress. I love to be an instrument of empowerment, inspiration, self-awareness and self-compassion.
